Originally from Canada, Elaine is a Ceredigion-based painter inspired by the rugged energy of the sea and land. She uses bold brushstrokes and expressive palette to evoke the many moods of this ever-changing land and for the past 20 years has exhibited in galleries across West Wales. Elaine is represented in private collections both in the UK and internationally. “There is a sublime spirit in the Welsh landscape that continually urges me on to give it expression.”
