Bookbinding workshop with Carole King of Nant Designs

Take home your own Sketchbook or Journal with handstitched pages and covered with a choice of  handprinted paper 
Make your own A5 sketch book or notebook (portrait orientation) containing around 120 writing or drawing surfaces of good quality, acid free cartridge.
In just one day you will learn all necessary techniques to create a beautiful volume to your own design. The functional hardback covers are decorated with a choice of paper of handprinted papers before the spine is reinforced and bound with a matching cloth binding. Optional finishing touches include reinforced corners, place markers and endpapers.

Birdie bauble, felt making workshop with Ruth Packham

As part of the ‘Reconnections’ craft fair I am running a day workshop at the lovely Ceridwen centre in west Wales.

Birdie baubles (not just for Christmas) are made using welsh wool fibre and both needle felting and wet felting techniques. I will provide all the materials including some dyed Cambrian wool fibre with which you will adorn your baubles.
As it is Halloween, bats or birds with cat ears, even pumpkin shaped, is allowed!
There will be tea, coffee and cake throughout the day and it is possible to treat yourself to lunch at the centre, or bring your own.
There is time for you to create at least 3 baubles during the day and no previous felt making experience is necessary.

Sound Bath Immersion with Angie Brierheart
Saturday 1 st November 2025   1pm – 2pm
Playing crystal, Tibetan, and Himalayan singing bowls, Angie’s sound bath will immerse you in
healing frequencies, reaching you at mind, body, and spirit level for perfect rest, relaxation, and
feelings of wellbeing.
Angie will guide you into a deep state of relaxation to let go of day to day busyness and fall into
restfulness, while the sound frequencies weave their magic.
All you need to do is lay back and receive the beautiful nurture and nourishment of sound healing.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow, and a closed water container.
Cushions to lay on are provided.
Spaces for 15 people. Booking essential. Cost £10
